Representation and the development of splines in relation to complex digital form and physical and visual space has influenced architectural modes of thinking. The contemporary situation of the architect requires a keyboard and a mouse for manipulation of software. What happens when scripting software or gesture interfaces take over the realm of precision and abstraction. This exercise engages the designer to review previews methods and techniques that relate to the spline as a design element by shifting from a Cartesian or 3-dimensional space accessed through a screen to virtual reality and scripting software. How far before iterations have lost relation to the starting object?
